We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, ensuring efficient pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders
- Assist in the management of patient records and insurance claims
- Provide excellent patient care by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all relevant legal regulations and pharmacy policies
Experience
- Prior experience in filling prescriptions in Kroll Rx is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration is a plus
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is not required
