About Woodland Physiotherapy

We are a medium sized clinic situated on busy Hastings street in East Vancouver with good relationships with local referral sources, loads of street parking and access to transit, nearby restaurants and gyms we have a team of Physiotherapists and Kinesiologists who are passionate about providing good quality, holistic care, and lifelong learning. Although we keep caseloads busy, we like to keep our atmosphere enjoyable and laid back :-)

- Skill practice sessions, mentorship and optional monthly in-services reviewing different physiotherapy techniques treatment approaches and skills
- Manual therapy

We provide:
- Jane EMR with Physitrack exercise software integration
- friendly reception staff who offer direct billing services (we primarily see privately insured clients, with occasional ICBC and part of the WorksafeBC provider network)
- Fully stocked gym, cable pulley machine.
- Merrithew Pilates reformer and tower, pilates chair
- supplies needed for IMS, acupuncture, pelvic health, taping, cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue release, real time ultrasound, blood flow restriction cuff strengthening, vestibular / concussion rehab, therapeutic ultrasound, TENS, NMES and biofeedback
- private treatment rooms (with doors,

Mentorship Available

We are well equiped to support you in your continued learning at our clinic! Working with us means you’ll have access to one-on-one mentorship in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise with a FCAMPT physiotherapists. If you’re interested in pelvic health we have mentorship opportunities available in both female and male pelvic health including the use of surface EMG and real-time ultrasound imaging biofeedback assessment.

Clinical pilates mentorship is also available with freedom to learn how to utilize our pilates reformer and wunda chair for rehab exercise prescription. Mentorship in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) is also available.

The ideal candidate

Someone with private practice orthopaedic experience would be great, but we are most interested in a positive match so if you’re a newer physio feel free to apply

Needling, pelvic health and vestibular skills are an asset but not necessary.

Must have a full or interim CHCPBC license, with professional malpractice insurance
