We are seeking someone who has hands-on experience assisting physiotherapists and strong medical administrative skills. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a busy clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Physiotherapy Assistant Duties

- Assist physiotherapists with patient treatments and exercise programs.
- Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises under the direction of the physiotherapist.
- Apply modalities as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
- Monitor patients during exercises and communicate any concerns to the physiotherapist.
- Assist with clinic flow and patient preparation.

Medical Administration Duties

- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient information.
- Process payments and assist with billing and insurance-related paperwork.




- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate referrals, forms, reports, and other administrative requirements.
- Assist with day-to-day clinic operations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant / Rehabilitation Assistant is preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical clinic or medical administration is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of physiotherapy treatments, therapeutic exercises, and clinic procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Skilled, reliable, punctual, and patient-focused.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn clinic software quickly.
- Experience with electronic medical records and medical billing is an asset.
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
