We are seeking a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a School Transportation Driver. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and timely pick-up and drop-off of children to and from school, providing peace of mind to parents and guardians. Duties

- Safely operate a vehicle designated for school transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Pick up children from designated locations in the morning and drop them off at their homes or school in the afternoon
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during transit, including assisting with boarding and disembarking as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding schedules or any concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and cleanliness
- Assist with heavy lifting of children’s belongings or equipment when necessary




- Maintain accurate records of daily routes, pickups, drop-offs, and any incidents that may occur during transit

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving or similar roles involving passenger transportation
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude towards children and parents
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling children’s belongings or supplies
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with parents, guardians, and school personnel
- Punctuality and reliability are essential for maintaining consistent schedules
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures related to passenger transport
- Ability to remain calm and composed in unexpected situations or emergencies
