About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a leading Bank’s Technology Infrastructure / Cloud Platform Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to design, build, and enhance enterprise-scale cloud platforms in Microsoft Azure .

The team develops reusable platform services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD capabilities, container platforms, observability solutions, and cloud-native engineering solutions that enable development teams across the organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable, secure, resilient, and highly automated Azure platform capabilities while supporting modern cloud-native applications and emerging AI/GenAI initiatives .

What You’ll Do

- Design, build, and support enterprise-scale Azure cloud platform capabilities.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
- Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes and Docker container platforms.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Develop automation scripts and platform tooling using Python and Bash.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Support scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and manage authentication, authorization, and access-control solutions.
- Build reusable platform services that can be leveraged across multiple engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Software Engineers, Security Teams, DevOps Teams, ML Engineers, and delivery partners.
- Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues and continuously improve engineering practices.
- Contribute to emerging AI, GenAI, and RAG platform initiatives.





Must-Have Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
- Robust experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker/container platforms .
- Strong experience developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines .
- Strong Python scripting/automation experience.
- Experience with cloud platform operations, scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Demonstrated experience building scalable and automated cloud infrastructure solutions.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience supporting GenAI, AI/ML, or RAG platforms.
- Azure API Management (APIM) .
- Bash scripting.
- Databricks .
- Experience building reusable enterprise platform services.
- Experience within financial services or banking environments.
