Senior Lead, Policy & Programs

Our client, a well-established organization, is seeking a Senior Lead, Policy & Programs to support the development and continuous improvement of employee policies, programs, and processes.

Working within the People & Culture function, this role will help ensure policies and programs are practical, compliant, inclusive, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development, review, and maintenance of employee policies, procedures, and people programs.
- Research and draft new or revised policies and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Apply an equity, inclusion, and accessibility lens to policy and program development.
- Review and improve HR processes across the employee lifecycle, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure policies, processes, HR systems, and digital tools are effectively aligned.
- Support the implementation and communication of new or updated policies and programs.




- Provide guidance to leaders and employees regarding policy and procedure interpretation.
- Support broader People & Culture, process improvement, and change initiatives as required.

Qualifications

- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of progressive experience in HR policy, organizational development, people programs, or a related area.
- Robust experience developing, reviewing, and implementing employee policies and processes.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience incorporating equity and accessibility considerations into policies or programs.
- Strong process improvement, research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
- Experience with HR technology and digital tools is an asset.
- HR, change management, organizational development, or related certification is considered an asset.
