Stellar Recruitment is looking for a Power Platform Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Microsoft Power Platform applications for a leading organization in the heavy manufacturing industry.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience developing low-code applications and automations using Power Apps and Power Automate , who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders to deliver practical technology solutions.

This is a 6 month contract position .

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate
- Support and enhance existing Power Platform applications and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with Technical Leads, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, and end users to develop solutions
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement
- Develop integrations using connectors, APIs, webhooks, and custom connectors
- Support user adoption and identify opportunities to improve existing applications and processes
- Ensure solutions follow appropriate governance, testing, version control,



and lifecycle management practices

Qualifications and Experience:

- Must be able to obtain Reliability and Controlled Goods Government Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or a post-secondary diploma in Computer Science
- 2+ years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions
- Robust hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience with Power Platform governance and Centre of Excellence concepts
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Experience with Canvas and/or Model-Driven Power Apps
- Experience developing complex Power Automate workflows and integrations
- Knowledge of UI/UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD is an asset
- Microsoft Power Platform or Azure certifications are an asset
- Experience within a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset

Contract length: 6 months Hourly rate: $50 - $65/hour

Location: Victoria, BC
