A pro shop attendant is responsible for delivering an excellent experience to our members and guests. The various ways a pro shop attendant delivers this experience is through receiving both members and guests, assisting with pro shop merchandising and the direct sale of merchandise in the pro shop.

We are looking for someone who has a flexible schedule and can work a variety of shifts. You will be required to work mornings, afternoons and evenings throughout the week as well as most holidays over the golf season. The shifts are generally 6-8 hours in length.

Responsibilities of a Pro Shop Attendant

- Opening and closing the pro shop
- Booking tee times
- Giving accurate pricing and selling merchandise in the golf shop
- Restocking the pro shop
- Keeping track of club rentals/ Demo clubs
- Assisting with signing up for member/guest tournaments
- Cleaning the pro shop before and after closing
- Follow health and safety policies
- Other various tasks assigned by the General Manager/Pro Shop manager

Requirements and Qualifications




- Must be 18 years and older
- Be able to work a flexible schedule of mornings, afternoons and weekends
- Be able to lift at least 35 pounds
- Have a background in running a point of sale system and taking payments
- Having experience in a previous customer experience role (working in golf an asset)
- Be comfortable answering the phone and have good phone etiquette
- Be personable to members and guests at the club
- Being able to multitask while working in a fast paced environment
