Our client in Vaughan is looking for a Process Engineer. They are seeking someone who has been employed with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company.

Compensation : $80,000 – $100,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Keep a close eye on day-to-day performance across the work centres, identifying issues early and using data to drive meaningful improvements.
- Play a key role in bringing new equipment into the operation — from ordering and development through delivery and installation — while ensuring everything aligns with manufacturing needs, layout constraints, and budget expectations.
- Contribute to cost analysis by helping build equipment quotes and challenging supplier pricing when needed.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, working directly with vendors to clearly outline technical and process requirements.
- Assess vendor proposals to confirm they meet project specifications and RFQ expectations.
- Lead issue resolution discussions with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring follow through and timely closure of action items.
Minimum Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company
- At least 5 years of tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing experience
- Work experience reading GD&T; Drawings
