Calgary L&G; is Canada’s most significant lube and grease operation west of central Canada and currently is recruiting for Process (Grease) Operators (2) to work in our plant located in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the grease operations lead the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring mixing and formulation of grease is as per approved specs and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure grease formulations meet required specifications
- Ensures boilers and other equipment are operating safely and within specifications.
- Read and adjust temperatures and gauges
- Takes appropriate action to assure heating and cooling requirements are met
- Responds to air quality concerns
- Records and identifies items requiring repair
- Receive inbound parts and chemicals
- Prepares reports and maintains records of the equipment functioning
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Work with staff and contractors on boiler preventative maintenance





Qualifications and Competencies:

- Minimum 3rd Class Power Engineer ticket is required
- Related experience in a plant or manufacturing setting
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Robust focus on house keeping
- Able to work in a team environment
- Strong focus on HSSE on the job
- Strong commitment to quality
- Dependable and reliable
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
