• CMBD / US Programs , the Production Planning and Control Manager is leading a team of professionals and first-level managers and responsible for the logistical planning of the manufacturing of critical parts for engine assembly for the Longueuil Manufacturing Center. He will lead and coordinate the management activities of on-time deliveries, inventories of parts in production and finished parts as well as communication with internal customers. He will evolve in a energetic, high-performance environment and will have to demonstrate adaptability. The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday and exclusively on-site. Lead a team in executing the planning of daily production operations, taking into account priorities and available resources. Oversee the planning of on-time delivery of all of the organization's products and coordinate communication with internal customers. Define the vision and manage the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations and optimize processes.
Maintain sound inventory management of in-process and finished products with the aim of improving inventory levels. Ensure an understanding of the demand for products to be manufactured for new engines and spare parts. Ensure the timely procurement of the raw materials required to maintain the manufacturing plan. Support the digital transformation of product planning and manufacturing activities. Monitor performance indicators (quality, manufacturing lead time, inventories, etc.) 10+ years of relevant experience in project management / operations / engineering / procurement management. ~ Knowledge of digital platforms for data processing. ~ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple mandates and projects. ~ Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management. ~ Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. ~ This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
