Halifax Water is hiring for the job of Project Engineer (Treatment Facilities / Process Engineering) . It is a regular opportunity in the Strategic Projects Section of the Engineering and Technology Services Department and have full time hours.

What the Strategic Projects Team does: Manages water, wastewater treatment facility infrastructure. Provides leadership in Halifax Water by delivering services that protect public health and the environment through the delivery of capital projects. Responsible for the provision of qualified Engineering and project management services (i.e., planning, design and construction management) for a wide range of capital projects related to water and wastewater treatment facilities infrastructure.

As a Treatment Facilities / Process Engineering Project Engineer, you will: Focus on the delivery of projects in support of Halifax Water's long-term plans as established by the Infrastructure Master Plans from the Integrated Resource Plan. A post-secondary degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical,



process or environmental). Five years of progressively responsible related experience in an engineering field (water or wastewater treatment).

Ideally have project management experience.
