Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing residential construction projects from planning and pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with internal teams, consultants, trades, and stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full lifecycle of residential construction projects.
- Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
- Coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing risks and challenges.
- Leading project meetings and providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and procurement activities.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and construction best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years of project management experience within residential construction.
- Experience managing single-family, multi-family, townhome, or master-planned community projects.
- Robust understanding of budgeting, scheduling, construction methodologies, and contract administration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with construction management and project scheduling software.
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is considered an asset.
- PMP designation or equivalent project management training is an asset.
