Seeking experienced RECE for our kindergarten aftercare Program Starting ASAP . 5/6 week contract with possibility of extension or permanent . $29.50/hour (includes PWE)$27.50 base before grant.

Must be a Member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.

*1 hour off site prep time daily (work from home)

Supply work as available in our full day Preschool program

TDSB Lunch Monitoring opportunities available through the school.

On stie- 3:00p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Work from home- 1 hours daily prep

- Complete all programming and assigned children’s documentation portfolios based on Quality Insurance standards.
- Keeping the room up to clean standards set by the Toronto Public Health
- Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork is complete. i.e. monthly and daily attendance, sanitation logs, playground safety checks etc.
- Be familiar with Toronto’s Quality Insurance (AQI) & the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA).
- Cooperate and contribute as a team member and willing to work within a team.
- Comfortable with talking with parents and other people in a professional manner.
- Familiarize, acknowledge and follow all centre policies, as may be amended from time to time.
- Foster physical fitness & outdoor activities during all weather conditions.




- Willing to help in other areas of the Program.
- Maintain at all times child-teacher ratios.
- Have positive relationships with TDSB staff & other people of the community.
- Follow open & closing procedures.
- Keep all information confidential.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Be registered and in good standing with the College of ECE
- Recognized valid First aid and CPR certificate.
- Must have working knowledge of AQI & CCEYA.
- Must have experience working with Neurodivergence and Dysregulation
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate to both children & adults & to liaise effectively with the community & other agencies.
- Must be flexible & willing to cooperate with the Supervisor, the parent board, & other staff.
- Working knowledge/ Programming experience with Emergent Curriculum

Pay: $29.50 per hour
