James Bay Community School Centre (JBCSC) is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and community-minded Recreation Program Lead to support the delivery of engaging recreation opportunities for children, youth, and families in James Bay.

About the Role The Recreation Program Lead is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration, coordination, and delivery of recreation programs and services. This position takes a leadership role in the coordination of School Lunch Programs, ASSAI Programming, Youth Getaways, and Community Events and Special Projects.

What You Will Do

· Coordinate registrations, participant records, and program administration.

· Act as a liaison with schools, families, participants, and community partners.

· Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreation programs.

· Coordinate community events and seasonal activities.

· Manage participant information using Amilia.

What We Are Looking For

· Experience coordinating recreation, youth, family, or community-based programs.





· Solid organizational and administrative skills.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

· First Aid & CPR C certification or willingness to obtain.

· Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Hours of Work

· 20 hours per week

· Monday to Friday

· 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

· Occasional weekend and evenings required
