Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Refrigeration Technician specialized in commercial refrigeration systems to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigerators used across various retail and food service environments. Your expertise will ensure that refrigeration units operate efficiently, reliably, and safely, supporting our commitment to quality service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct welding and plumbing tasks as needed for repairs or system upgrades.
- Utilize HVAC knowledge to manage temperature controls and ensure optimal system performance.
- Apply mechanical skills to replace compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, and other components.




- Maintain detailed service records and logs of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on commercial refrigeration systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, welding, and appliance repair.
- Construction experience or familiarity with schematics for complex refrigeration setups is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working with boilers or other mechanical systems is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety standards.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures specific to commercial refrigeration equipment will set candidates apart.
