Responsibilities

- Perform professional massage therapy treatments using various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage to address client concerns.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health history and current conditions to customize treatment plans effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or exercises.
- Uphold strict hygiene standards by sanitizing equipment and treatment areas after each session.
- Keep detailed records of client treatments, progress notes,



and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support holistic client care.

Experience

- Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) from an accredited program is required.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a passion for helping others.
- Knowledge of medical terminology enhances your ability to understand client conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for creating welcoming environments that foster trust and loyalty.
- Excellent communication skills enable you to clearly explain treatment procedures and address client questions confidently.
