Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues related to plumbing systems, providing solutions that enhance system performance.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Complete service calls and projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification in residential plumbing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, tools and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve plumbing problems independently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Prior involvement in maintenance projects or renovation construction is highly desirable.
