We are looking for a residential care workers to support individuals in a 1-2 bed adult home.
Your responsibilities will include everything that is entailed to assist the individual with day to day living. Some of your responsibilities include; supporting the individuals in the community, engaging and planning activities for the individuals, medication administration, assisting with hygiene routines, preparing meals, keeping the residence clean, records and documentation, following behaviour support plans and care plans, facilitating community inclusion, and above all working in a team environment to deliver exceptional services to the individuals who reside at the home.
We are seeking compassionate and confident team members who are skilled in supporting adults with complex behaviors. Applicants should be comfortable using de-escalation and crisis-management techniques to manage instances of escalation calmly and professionally, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both clients and staff.
The residence is located in Duncan, BC. You must provide/obtain Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance, First-Aid/CPR, TB Test, and a valid Driver’s License.
