Shelly’s Indigenous Bistro is an Indigenous-owned takeout, delivery and catering restaurant seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our daily operations and support the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily restaurant, takeout, delivery and catering operations
- Supervise, schedule, train and support employees
- Manage attendance, timekeeping and payroll submissions
- Coordinate Front of House and commercial-kitchen operations
- Step into cooking or food production when operationally required
- Maintain food quality, safety and customer-service standards
- Manage food and labour costs, inventory, purchasing and waste
- Support catering growth and continuous operational improvement
- Provide regular operational reports to ownership

What We’re Looking For

- Five or more years of restaurant, food-service or hospitality experience
- Two or more years of restaurant management or senior leadership experience
- Hands-on commercial-kitchen and cooking experience
- Experience with staffing, scheduling, training and performance management
- Knowledge of payroll, food cost, labour cost, inventory and ordering
- Strong food-safety and workplace-safety knowledge
- Calm, organized and accountable leadership
- Availability for approximately 40 hours per week,



including evenings, weekends, holidays and catering events

A valid Manitoba Food Handler Certificate is required or must be obtained upon hire. WHMIS and Serving It Safe may also be required. First Aid/CPR is an asset.

- $22–$27 per hour, based on directly related experience
