Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Conduct engaging product demos of coffee beans, brewing equipment, and accessories to educate customers about features and benefits
- Assist customers in selecting products that match their preferences, offering upselling opportunities to maximize satisfaction and sales
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that highlight new products, seasonal items, and best-sellers to attract customer attention
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves,
conducting stock counts, and ensuring product availability
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding customer needs, product knowledge, and store operations to ensure smooth daily functions
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, especially within specialty food or beverage sectors
- Strong technical sales background with the ability to demonstrate product features confidently
- Experience with merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions
- Excellent communication skills coupled with friendly phone etiquette to assist customers both in-store and over the phone
- Customer service orientation with a passion for delivering memorable shopping experiences in a lively retail setting
