Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain features to showcase the value of our offerings effectively
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling complementary items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and highlight key products
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues with professionalism
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment, product tagging,
and inventory counts to ensure optimal product availability
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or technology sales, with a strong understanding of product demos and technical features
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, to engage effectively with customers
- Strong organizational skills for managing time efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing quick calculations for upselling or discounts
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
- Ability to operate POS systems, perform cashiering duties, and handle cash confidently
- Experience in merchandising, stock management, and maintaining store presentation standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
