The function of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide direct support to the Division Manager and the sales team they are assigned to in the day to day tasks required for the Division they are working in.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES: The following are principal duties of the Inside Sales Representative Service our customers in an accurate and timely manner.

Support the outside salespeople when they are in or out of the office.

Proactively self-educate through reading and asking questions.

Attend supplier supported training when required. This could be in house or at the suppliers facilities. There may be limited travel involved.

Manage the Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA) projects. This entails monitoring projects, printing off potential tenders and entering the project information into Rep Edge. Ensure that all take-offs are done. This needs to be managed between themselves and the other inside sales people. Pricing and take-offs assigned to them. This would include all bid & spec project, design build projects and small projects that our customers send us on a daily basis.

Preparation of final quotes for all bid and spec projects. Review final quotes with the Division Manager and/or assigned Sales team before sending quote to customer

Generate document packages for all projects they are assigned by the Division Manager and/or assigned sales team





Project manage all projects to which they are assigned by the Division Manager and/or their assigned sales team

Answer incoming calls from customers

Respond to incoming e-mail’s from customers

Assist on an as-needed basis for walk-in and cash customers. Attend all divisional and office meetings

Assist in all customer events as required by the outside salespeople and managers. This could be open houses, Sporting events, lunches, etc.

Perform other duties assigned by your manager or the sales team you are working with.

Collaborate with members of other divisions within the office to ensure all material for project quotes are accounted for and there is no overlap of material.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for ensuring that:

- All of the duties of the position are completed as per the • Assisting Division Manager and/or assigned Sales Team on an as needed basis REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
- Inside Sales Representative reports to the Division Manager and/or the Outside Sales person managing their assigned sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS

- One Year Sales Experience or some level of customer service experience • BS/BA in Marketing or Business Administration
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft, Word Excel, PowerPoint • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member
- Working Hours 8:00am – 4:30pm
