Focus Systems is seeking an experienced SAP NetWeaver Administrator for Platform Engineering to support SAP platform engineering and administration within an enterprise environment.

Role Overview The SAP NetWeaver Administrator for Platform Engineering will support the installation, maintenance, administration, tuning, and operational reliability of complex SAP technical platforms and related infrastructure. The successful candidate will work across teams to coordinate changes, maintain accurate support documentation, resolve operational conflicts, provide expert technical direction, support rollout implementation, and recover from service interruptions while establishing preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with various teams on upcoming changes and resolve scheduling or implementation conflicts
- Keep system support documentation current following upgrades, redesigns, and operational changes
- Install, maintain, and support complex technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components
- Administer and tune SAP platforms to achieve expected availability and performance levels
- Provide expert technical direction to other team members




- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Support rollout planning and implementation
- Perform root-cause analysis following service interruptions and establish preventive measures for complex projects
- Use scheduling tools to help ensure day-to-day operational activities are completed

Mandatory Qualifications

- Experience with SAP HANA administration
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver system administration
- Experience maintaining SAP environments in a public cloud
- Experience with scheduling tools and ensuring day-to-day activities are completed
- Experience with SAP Solution Manage r tools and functionality
- Ability to work remotely from within Canada for the duration of the engagement
