Job Title

: Saw Operator/Machine Operator

Location : Concord, ON

Pay : $25–$30/hour (depending on experience)

Shift : Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (Full time)

Job Responsibilities

- Operate Cold Cut Saw and Band Saw safely and efficiently.
- Load machines, arrange parts, and set up/change saw blades.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine accurate cutting dimensions.
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, measuring tape, protractors,

and other gauges.
- Identify and work with different materials including mild steel, stainless steel,

and aluminum.
- Measure, cut, and inspect materials according to specifications and tolerances.
- Properly manage and organize offcuts and leftover materials.
- Perform quality checks on finished cuts and report any discrepancies.




- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all PPE, safety, and machine-operation procedures.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of machine/saw operator experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating Cold Cut Saw and Band Saw.
- Strong blueprint/engineering drawing reading skills.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing approximately 35–50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
