Position Summary The School Based Wellness Coach provides qualified and compassionate coaching services to students and their families to support students facing mental health, interpersonal and socio-economic difficulties, in order to achieve academic success.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Develop relationships with students and their families.
- Provide support with mental health, interpersonal and socio-economic related issues.




- Provide support to students regarding decision making, boundaries, social skills and healthy relationships.
- Provide parenting support through community referrals.
- Provide ongoing emotional support by connecting families through home visits, emails and regular telephone calls.

Education/Qualifications

- Diploma in Counselling, Social Work or a related field
- minimum of three years related experience
- demonstrated experience working in community outreach and as a coach to students knowledge of restorative justice practices

Rate of Pay $36.04 - $45.67 per hour
