Senior Dental Ceramist For over 20 years, UNICE has worked closely with dental professionals to deliver high-quality restorations and specialized solutions for complex cases. Today, we are one of Canada’s established full-service dental laboratories, collaborating with more than 800 dental practices each year.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dental Ceramist who can create restorations that achieve both exceptional aesthetics and reliable function.
We are looking for more than someone who simply completes assigned work. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, exercises sound professional judgment, and accepts responsibility for consistently producing high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ceramic build-up, contouring, staining, glazing, and finishing
- Reproduce natural dental morphology, surface texture, translucency, and shade
- Complete anterior aesthetic, posterior, implant, and other complex restorative cases
- Apply professional judgment to the aesthetics, function, occlusion, and accuracy of each case
- Identify technical challenges in complex cases and contribute to case planning
- Collaborate with CAD/CAM designers, technicians, and Quality Control teams
- Maintain consistent quality standards and independently review completed work
- Identify production issues and recommend practical solutions
- Contribute ideas to improve technical standards and production workflows
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of professional dental ceramic experience
- Ability to independently complete anterior and posterior ceramic restorations
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, morphology, occlusion, shade, and aesthetic restorations
- Ability to reproduce natural morphology, surface texture, translucency, and colour
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility for quality
- Ability to deliver consistent results in a professional dental laboratory environment
- Robust communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide a portfolio of personally completed ceramic restorations
