The GBME Data Platform team delivers critical data capabilities across the bank, supporting both regulatory and non-regulatory systems. The platform currently supports 100+ source systems, enabling enterprise-scale development and solutioning using contemporary cloud and data technologies such as GCP, Kubernetes, Kafka, Apache NiFi, Elasticsearch, and Dremio. The team plays a key role in ensuring platform stability, security, compliance, and operational excellence, while enabling rapid onboarding and modernization of data workloads.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the GBM Data Platform, you will provide technical leadership and hands‐on expertise to design, operate, and continuously improve the bank's data platform infrastructure. This role is a senior, production‐facing position with responsibility for platform onboarding, reliability, and operational support for regulatory and compliance‐driven workloads. This role includes participation in an on‐call rotation supporting critical production systems outside standard business hours.

Provide senior‐level DevOps guidance for onboarding regulatory and compliance data workloads. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments. Maintain development, staging, and production environments (e.g., Participate in on‐call rotations to provide production support, incident response, and root‐cause analysis. 5+ years of hands‐on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles with production responsibility. ~ Hands‐on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker in enterprise‐scale deployments. ~ Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash/Shell, and/or Groovy. ~ Experience monitoring and managing system performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Dynatrace. ~ Working knowledge of streaming platforms, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ETL solutions, preferably Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Apache NiFi. ~ Strong troubleshooting, root‐cause analysis,



and problem‐solving skills for complex production issues. ~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience working with GCP or other public cloud platforms.

Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or audit‐driven enterprise platforms.

Experience contributing to enterprise DevOps standards, patterns, or cloud adoption strategies. Prior experience acting as a technical lead or mentor within a DevOps or platform team.
