Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Engineering consulting industry in Sudbury, Ontario.

The Sudbury team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience supporting underground mining projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment delivering a mix of large-scale EPCM projects and operations support initiatives across a variety of industries. A typical day:

- Lead and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers, and CAD professionals in the successful delivery of mining and mineral processing projects.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to electrical project teams and junior staff.
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, designs,



and technical deliverables.
- Develop electrical equipment specifications and detailed design, procurement, construction, and installation documents.
- Review vendor drawings and technical data to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
- Prepare conceptual designs, engineering studies, technical reports, and project proposals.
- Collaborate with project teams and client representatives to ensure effective communication and project execution.
- Monitor project performance, report on project metrics, and support site visits and project-related activities as required.

Successful candidates will have:

- Electrical Engineer with 12+ years of relevant experience – preferably in an EPCM environment for industrial projects
- Underground mining project experience is required
- Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer with the P.E.O or another Canadian Professional Engineering Association
- Solid communication skills - oral and written
- Knowledge of industry, regulatory codes and standards
- Proficient with the following electrical design tools and software: SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower and ASPEN
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multi disciplinary teams
