The Senior Financial Analyst position offers a chance to work on high-impact projects within a prestigious public organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor on financial reporting, analysis, and compliance, playing a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial data that drives organizational success.
Key responsibilities include performing complex account reconciliations, preparing and reviewing financial reports, examining transactions for accuracy, and supporting internal and external audits with meticulous documentation. You will analyze financial trends, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to process enhancements that optimize financial operations.
Candidates should bring proven expertise in financial analysis, advanced Excel skills (including Pivot tables and VLOOKUP), and a solid understanding of accounting standards and principles. A CPA designation coupled with relevant education in finance or accounting is required. The ability to work independently, interpret complex financial data, and support continuous improvement initiatives will set you apart.
Experience with ERP systems like SAP and familiarity with financial audit procedures are significant assets.
