Position Summary: The Senior Financial Planning Analyst, Operations serves as a strategic finance partner to Multy’s Production, Operations, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and predictive financial modeling to drive business objectives. By developing KPI dashboards and analyzing cost, productivity, and efficiency drivers, the Analyst delivers proactive, data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Prepare detailed financial reports, analysis, and insights for senior leadership.
- Conduct variance analysis on financial performance, highlighting key drivers and trends.
- Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required by the management team.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
- Perform ongoing analysis and updates to the forecast based on business trends and performance.

Strategic Financial Support:
- Support senior management in financial decision-making by providing data-driven insights.
- Assist with long-term financial planning, investment evaluations, and profitability analysis.
- Contribute to the strategic planning process, providing financial input and recommendations.

Financial Modeling:
- Develop and enhance financial models for corporate initiatives such as capital investment projects, cost optimization,



and pricing strategies.
- Provide scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to help assess the impact of key business decisions.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments (such as Sales, Marketing, Operations) to understand business drivers and incorporate them into financial analysis.
- Act as a liaison between finance and other functions to ensure alignment on financial goals and deliverables.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
- Streamline financial reporting and analysis processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Leadership and Mentorship:
- Mentor and guide junior finance analysts or associates.
- Provide training and support to other departments on financial concepts and analysis tools.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- CFA, CPA, or MBA (preferred, but not required).

Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A;), or similar roles.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Knowledge of financial software/tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau).
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
