Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Principal/Architect Engineer to join our team in Downtown Toronto. This is a hands-on engineering position where you will be responsible for designing the architecture and writing production code for distributed systems.

- Event-driven architecture
- GitHub Copilot and LLM-powered development workflows
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement production-grade distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Utilize AWS services for compute, storage,
networking, and IAM.
- Support ML inference pipelines, including data normalization and model-serving integrations.
- Turn unclear business goals into technical architecture.
- Work at startup speed with evolving requirements.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Robust experience with distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Proficiency in AWS services.
- Experience with greenfield or zero-to-one product development.
- Ability to work with GitHub Copilot and agentic coding tools.
- Experience with edge computing, CDN execution, and security platforms is strongly preferred.
