Our crown corporation client is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to lead AI transformation initiatives using Agile principles and AI governance strategies

Join a large-scale AI transformation initiative within a Canadian financial services environment. This role supports enterprise AI adoption through roadmap development, AI framework enhancement, stakeholder engagement, governance activities, and Agile delivery practices. The position involves collaboration across executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams to advance AI transformation objectives within a complex enterprise setting.

Initial 14-month contract, Ottawa, ON. Hybrid onsite (10 days/month in office, with possible remote options). 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Develop and refine an AI transformation roadmap aligned to organizational outcomes
- Plan and execute activities related to AI framework development, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and change management
- Contribute to the enhancement of AI frameworks, operating models, architecture patterns, reusable AI assets, and playbooks
- Facilitate collaboration among executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners
- Coordinate leadership committees, working groups, stakeholder forums, and demo and review sessions
- Identify opportunities to expand successful AI capabilities and recommend continuous improvements
- Support related AI transformation activities and deliverables as required

Must Haves
- 10+ years leading enterprise projects , programs , or transformation initiatives
- 3+ years supporting AI transformation , digital modernization , or emerging technology initiatives within large organizations
- Agile , AI governance , AI adoption strategies ,



and stakeholder engagement across complex enterprise environments
- Governance structures , operating models , performance metrics , and program oversight processes
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Artificial Intelligence

Nice to Have
- AI, Cloud, or Digital Transformation certifications from recognized institutions or technology vendors
- Experience facilitating technical demonstrations, workshops, steering committees, and decision-making forums
- Experience supporting organizational change management, communications, training, and workforce enablement activities
