ETO Engineering has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager to take the Business Unit Leader role for the growing water and wastewater business. We are looking for a water and wastewater professional with 15+ years of experience who will be responsible for the business development/proposals, project management, and detailed design of vertical water and wastewater projects in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Typical projects will vary but may include Infrastructure Planning Studies, Assets Management Studies, Feasibility Studies and Conceptual Designs, Condition Assessments, Functional Servicing Studies, Master Plans, Municipal Class Environmental Assessments, Preliminary Designs, and Detailed Designs, and Construction Phase Services.

The types of projects as a minimum may include sewage pumping stations, booster pumping stations, reservoirs, elevated tanks, Water and Wastewater Treatment Pants.

The job responsibilities of this position include the following:

- Identify recent business opportunities, build and maintain key customer relationships and assist with increasing current market position
- Lead water and wastewater business development and proposal pursuits
- Manage and actively participate in water and wastewater vertical projects
- Provide direction to the design teams throughout all phases of a project
- Plan, assess, and design water and wastewater infrastructure facilities
- Recognize, define and resolve problems within assigned area
- Liaise with the various municipal/utility/approval agencies.




- Responsible for the financial management project, project schedules, and client communications
- Participate in company-wide quality initiatives and improvements through quality objectives
- Mentor junior team members

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

- University graduate with engineering background, preferably in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario, PMP Certification is a preferred asset
- 15+ years of municipal infrastructure design experience for municipal projects in Canada
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, associates, and clients
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work in fast paced, highly charged environment
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
