Following the success of our Windermere location, we are excited to open our newest location in St. Albert. Position Summary
Flame & Barrel St. Albert is seeking energetic, professional, and guest-focused Servers to join our opening team. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive service, menu recommendations, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Process payments accurately using the restaurant POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
- Follow all food safety, liquor service, and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
- Valid ProServe certification is required or must be obtained before employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using POS systems is considered an asset.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
