We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dining experiences to our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and overall restaurant sanitation.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist in training current staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of food handling and service techniques.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a strong background in restaurant operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with guests and provide excellent guest services.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
