Role Description: This is a part time, on-site Server role based in Toronto, ON. The Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and providing attentive table service throughout the visit. Daily tasks include accurately entering orders, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, delivering items promptly, and checking on guest satisfaction.

The Server will handle payments, manage receipts, and maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables and following opening and closing procedures. The role also involves answering guest questions, making menu suggestions, adhering to all health and safety regulations,



and representing Woodlyns’ service standards in a professional manner.

Qualifications

- Experience in restaurant or hospitality service, with strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately, including basic math skills and point-of-sale (POS) system familiarity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards; comfort making menu recommendations and answering product questions.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and complying with food safety, health, and hygiene guidelines.
- Reliability in attendance and scheduling, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous serving experience and Smart Serve or equivalent responsible beverage service certification are highly beneficial.

Pay: $17.60 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
