The electro-mechanical technician carries out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments and preventive maintenance on client's machines to increase the improvements on the machines. The electro-mechanical technician helps install, repair, troubleshoot, relocate, and modify the machinery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform repairs, maintenance and adjustments on the machinery and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic troubleshooting;

Develop, monitor and perform preventive maintenance;

Read pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic schematics.

Program programmable controllers

Manage all unexpected and unplanned customer requests;

Any other tasks related to maintenance or that are required.





QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Post Secondary education in; electro-mechanics; Millwright, Electrical Engineering Technologists.

Three years of related experience and or related education.

Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic experience and experience with programmable digital and logic controllers;

Understanding of CNC, Robotics, Automation, Lasers, Punch Press and/or Brake Press would be an asset
