Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper packaging, and timely shipments. Duties

- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately according to customer specifications
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software like AS400 to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
- Conduct order picking and packing for e-commerce orders with precision, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain organized storage areas, perform regular inventory counts, and assist with warehouse distribution tasks




- Ensure all shipments meet safety standards and packaging requirements for secure transportation

Requirements

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on order fulfillment
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP software such as AS400, and inventory control procedures
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and e-commerce logistics
- Basic math skills for counting items, measuring packages, and calculating weights or dimensions
- Experience with order picking, packing techniques, and load & unload procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
