Job Summary Carwash Attendant/Vehicle Repositioning

Devon Transport serves customers through out BC and our fleet is a vital component to meeting our customers' needs. This means moving vehicles between locations and making sure that every customer receives a clean and well-maintained vehicle. This position includes a variety of both tasks. In this hybrid position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are cleaned to the highest standards while moving vehicles to ensure that our customers receive high standard of on time service.

Position Responsibilities:

- Wash Cars Returned from Customers - exterior and interior - to a high standard
- Ensure Detailed inspections are performed on all returned vehicles
- Check fluids and accessories of vehicles
- Complete basic check of vehicles to ensure good working order
- Driving of customers or movement of vehicles
- Identify and record new and existing damage
- Work with team members to prioritize vehicle needs based on customer demand
- Assist with vehicle maintenance as scheduled
- Assist customers as needed with luggage, basic vehicle operation instructions
- Maintain lot including, weeding, picking up garbage, salting, clearing snow and other duties to ensure professional grounds
- Move vehicles within the city of Victoria and on Vancouver Island as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Valid Driver's License (Minimum BC Class 5 required)
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to operate basic cleaning tools
- Previous detailing experience considered an asset
- General Automotive Knowledge considered an asset
- Vehicle detailing experience considered an asset
