Position Summary
We are seeking an organized site coordinator to assist with day-to-day operations at the KEPA-KEC wind farms. The coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the site sustainability and profitability.
ACCOUNTABILITES
- Health, Safety and Environment:
- Maintain HSE records such as audits, risk assessments, inspection, complaints and LOTO.
- Ensure proper inventory of PPE, LOTO devices, etc.
- Environmental Waste Management – shipping & document management for waste disposal
- Compile site monthly results.
- Communicate results to senior management.
- Complete audits on PPE, Chemicals, Spill contamination, and others as required
- Maintenance
- CMMS
- In coordination with the Maintenance planner help manage the site inventory through cycle count.
- Complete work orders related to inspections, audits and recertifications.
- Enter purchase orders, receive and create parts within the system
- Purchasing
- Create requisition for purchasing in the ERP or via the company credit card for minor purchases.
- Interfacing with vendors to receive quotes and orders of parts
- Review budget monthly with operations manager.
- Prepare and review personal expense reports.
- Documentation:
- Review site policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WI) and forms.
- File documents physically or electronically.
- Review and submit weekly timesheets for site hourly staff.
- Meetings:
- Prepare the agenda and participate in the H&S;, continuous improvement and technician meetings
- Post meeting minutes on the site board.
- Compliance:
- Complete all regulatory requirements on-time for the site.
- Perform or support auditing for WHMIS, H&S;, 5S, Parts Inventory or other initiatives as requested.
- Organizing Events:
- Convene and organize various other events such as the annual landowner BBQ and various site activities.
- Landowners:
- Maintain good relations.
- Gather information and assess payments for monthly and annual rent along with property taxes. Document and communicate issues to his/her manager.
- Maintenance of Landowner Database
- Interface with Head Office on Stakeholder requests & support for future development projects.
Requirements education
- Previous experience in a parts clerk or office management role.
- College diploma, technical or administrative.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Skills And Abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in English written and verbal is required.
- Able to use CMMS and ERP platforms.
- Proficient in office software (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and/or renewable energy processes.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to work in office, outdoors and in varying conditions.
- Able to safely and confidently use a forklift for parts unloading or retrieval.
- Able to lift 25lbs and travel up stairs.
