Overview

We are seeking motivated Snow Removal Crew Members and Operators to join our dynamic team during the winter season. This role is vital in ensuring safe and accessible outdoor spaces for our clients by efficiently removing snow from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other designated areas.

Winter positions include

- Loader and skid steer operators
- Plow truck operators

-Experienced sidewalk snow-removal crew

-Equipment operation

100 HOURS GUARANTEED PER MONTH DURING WINTER

Requirements

- Availability on short notice when winter storms hit, including early mornings, evenings, and overnight call-outs
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs or more and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Own warm winter gear, steel-toed boots, and PPE worn at all times
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
- Valid Class 5 drivers license (drivers abstract required)
- Reliable transportation to the job site
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Duties
- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows,



shovels, blowers, and salt spreaders to clear snow and ice from various surfaces
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for snow clearing tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with landscape construction/maintenance when not engaged in snow removal
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during snow clearing operations
- Collaborate with team members to complete snow removal efficiently and on schedule
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors

Experience
- Prior experience with construction or outdoor maintenance work is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating landscaping or construction machinery is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance tasks is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold temperatures during winter months
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads safely
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
