Responsibilities
- Prepare and blend smoothies, juices, and other beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly assistance throughout their visit
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and give correct change while maintaining cash handling accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including food prep stations and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients and utensils
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit or stocking supplies as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or safety
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles is preferred, including barista or serving experience
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in the food industry or similar settings will help you excel in this energetic role
