Position Details

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the year.

Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.

Training is also provided before your first shift!

Schedule: • Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $21/per hour

Responsibilities

- Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local Sobeys grocery stores
- Share key product information and answer customer questions
- Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions
- Prepare straightforward food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts)
- Maintain a clean and organized sampling station (set up, maintain, and tear down)
- Complete reporting after each shift

Qualifications





- Must have a valid Smart Serve Certification and Food Handler Certificate prior to the interview
- Must be fully available Thursday-Sunday
- Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
- Must have access to own car and be able to Paris or Simcoe if required.
- Confident engaging with customers and delivering key product messaging
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
- Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and to complete reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
