We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant who is a confident, hardworking, and motivated individual who is dedicated to achieving high standards of quality service and value to clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Engagement Support: Assist with compilation, review, and audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of business clients.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare accurate corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns, along with T4/T5 summaries and HST filings.
- Client Advisory: Help clients manage accounting software, full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and data entry.
- CRA & Government Relations: Handle pre- and post-assessment reviews, information requests, and routine correspondence with the Canada Revenue Agency.




- Client Communications: Liaise directly with clients to answer questions, resolve requests, and gather file information politely and professionally.

Experience & Education

- Credentials: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a Canadian public practice.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Trial Balances, General Ledgers, and Financial Statements.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CaseWare, Taxprep, and QuickBooks Online/Desktop is highly beneficial.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, sharp analytical problem-solving, and a high attention to detail.
- Workflow Management: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a team setting.
