CFR Chemicals is a small chemical distribution company committed to safety and serving our business partners. We are looking for an energetic team player who thrives in a dynamic work environment. A successful Supply Chain Analyst will be someone who takes initiative to continuously improve our processes, drive business results, and optimize relationships with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities are to ensure the efficient movement of goods and services, including:

· Collaborate with sales, operations, technical and finance teams to support shipping/delivery schedules

· Support budget development and execution, along with other business processes

· Prepare and maintain purchasing records, costing reports, list price documentation, meet competition price exceptions, etc.

· Manage procurement activities to ensure timely availability of feedstocks and resale chemicals

· Manage logistics chain of procurement, warehousing, distribution, delivery, transportation o Arrange trucking o Manage U.S. and Canadian rail network movements - loading, shipping and tracking of products

· Demand planning, forecasting of markets, modelling, financial comparisons to optimize costs o Optimize inventory to ensure adequate supply while minimizing carrying costs o Forecast customer demand, and plan production and inventory levels accordingly

· Supply chain mapping - identify bottlenecks, create, and collaboratively implement continuous improvement plan





· Build strong relationships with suppliers

· Negotiate and interpret contracts

· Develop and track KPIs, and analyze market and company data

· Identify, analyze, do contingency planning, and mitigate risks

· Understand and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for chemical storage, handling, and transportation

· Work with ERM/MRP systems

Requirements:

· University degree or relevant experience

· Experience with rail car tracking, liaising with railway companies, GeoMetrix

· Excellent: communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, attention to detail & problem-solving mindset

· Strong analytical skills

· Skilled negotiator with proven ability to close deals

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
