Our client is seeking a Technical Product Lead (10+ years) to drive HRIS integration strategy and roadmap delivery using Workday integrations, REST API, XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, and JSON

This role leads the technical direction and delivery of a complex HRIS integration ecosystem supporting enterprise HR and Shared Services initiatives. The position focuses on Workday integrations, technical architecture alignment, integration quality, and secure upstream/downstream data exchanges across corporate systems.

The Technical Product

Lead will act as the senior technical authority bridging HR business needs, functional teams, and engineering resources while supporting large-scale HR technology initiatives.

Contract, Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

- 10+ years in system application design with technical integrations , including leadership in lead , architect , or equivalent technical roles
- 3+ years designing, developing, and maintaining Workday Integrations including Workday Studio , EIBs , and Core Connectors
- Advanced expertise with Web Services , REST API , XML , XSLT , SOAP , WSDL , and JSON
- Agile , Scrum , RFP technical evaluations, cybersecurity principles , and HR compliance standards
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related technical field

Nice to Have
- Java, .Net, or enterprise middleware/ETL data pipelines
- Workday Integration Certification
- Certification in agile project or product management such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Bilingual English and French

Responsibilities




- Define the technical vision and roadmap for the HRIS integration ecosystem
- Lead the technical delivery and prioritization of the integration backlog
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Workday integrations and downstream corporate system connections
- Translate HR and Shared Services requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Manage analyst team workload and participate in scrum ceremonies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to analysts and developers
- Oversee testing activities including unit testing, automated regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing for integrations
