As our business continues to grow, we have a career opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative for our Ontario operations.

Overview of role

Reporting to the General Manager/Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible to promote and grow equipment sales in the assigned territory.

This role will require both an understanding of compressed air concepts as well as a willingness to learn. It requires accountability to both the client and HD Compression Inc. as well as exceptional communication with a positive customer facing approach.

Travel to the US may be required for training purposes.

Primary Responsibilities

- Seek out and establish relationships with new customers.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Assist customers in assessing their compressed air system needs.
- Provide innovative solutions for customers to upgrade their air system(s).
- Develop and implement a target marketing plan to augment the above activities.




- Embrace and utilize company resources related but not limited to our CRM, operating system, supplier portals, etc
- Effectively share information and collaborate with other members of the HD team to ensure we are providing best possible solutions for our customers.

Job qualifications:

- 3 – 5 years experience in compressed air +/or industrial equipment sales (business to business).
- Working knowledge of mechanical concepts and theory of compression technologies.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to self manage, while adhering to company direction and policies.
- Motivated and able to sell across the spectrum of customers – from smallest to largest.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to obtain Visa for travel purposes outside Canada.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
