Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Test Bug Bounty Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of identifying vulnerabilities within our digital infrastructure, helping us strengthen our security posture through proactive testing and research. Your expertise will directly contribute to safeguarding sensitive data, ensuring system integrity, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability research across various platforms, including web applications, networks, and cloud environments.
- Perform penetration testing using tools such as Nmap, Fiddler, and Splunk to identify security weaknesses and potential exploits.
- Analyze network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and system configurations to detect vulnerabilities related to network architecture and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to integrate security best practices and remediation strategies.
- Utilize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems like Splunk for incident detection, response, and reporting.
- Apply knowledge of encryption standards (PKI, SSL/TLS) and authentication mechanisms (Active Directory, LDAP) to assess security controls.
- Assist in incident response activities by investigating security breaches, documenting findings, and recommending improvements.

Experience





- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on vulnerability research or penetration testing.
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF), network support, and network management tools.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux (CentOS), macOS, Solaris, and cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco ASA, Juniper devices, VMware, Ansible, Terraform, and Cisco ISE.
- Knowledge of compliance standards including ISO 27001/27002/27000 series and PCI DSS requirements.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines for automation purposes.
- Understanding of high availability configurations, disaster recovery planning, load balancing techniques (F5), and virtualization technologies.
- Background in network security best practices involving VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems (Snort), DNS management, DHCP configuration, and network architecture design.
- Experience with computer forensics techniques and tools for analyzing security incidents related to IoT devices or internet-connected systems.
