Join our energetic team as an AZ Cross-Border Long-Haul Truck Driver! This role puts you behind the wheel of modern, heavy-duty tractors, delivering freight efficiently and safely on dedicated lanes between Canada and the United States. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining our commitment to reliable international service while ensuring compliance with all MTO and US DOT safety regulations. Duties

- Cross-Border Transport: Safely operate Class A (AZ) tractor-trailers to transport freight across international borders and designated long-haul routes.

- Compliance & Inspections: Conduct thorough MTO Schedule 1 pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security.

- Logbook Management: Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) entries, delivery documentation, and customs paperwork to ensure seamless border clearance.

- Freight Management: Assist with basic load securement checks and verify cargo manifests for accuracy before departure (No-touch freight).

- Clear Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate cross-border deliveries and resolve transit delays promptly.

Requirements





- Licensing: Valid Ontario Class A Commercial Driver’s License (AZ) with a clean abstract and CVOR history.

- Border Clearance: Valid Canadian Passport, Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL), or PR Card for legal entry into the United States (FAST Card preferred).

- Regulatory Compliance: Ability to pass a US DOT medical exam, pre-employment drug screening, and clear the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.

- Industry Experience: Proven experience in long-haul commercial driving with a strong understanding of border-crossing procedures and logbook regulations.

- Physical Stamina: Physical ability to safely climb in and out of trucks, drop/hook trailers, and perform inspections in various weather conditions.

- Coordination: Strong communication skills for clear coordination with dispatch teams and border officials.
